24 August 2001span> SARAJEVO--The parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted on 23 August a new permanent election law proposed by the country's government. The adoption of the law was a key requirement for Bosnia's accession to the Council of Europe. The country is expected to be admitted to the Council of Europe in the fall.
