7 March 2002 SKOPJE, 6 March (KosovaLive)–Macedonian MPs of the Parliamentary Commission for Internal Policy and Defense failed to vote on 6 March in favor of a draft law on granting amnesties to former ethnic Albanian rebels. They announced they will amend the draft, despite the insistence of Justice Minister Ixhet Mehmeti that they should approve it without any changes.
