Angel Dimitrievski is an LGBTQ+ activist from North Macedonia who writes about and explores the intersections of sexuality, disability, and chronic illness, drawing from his personal experiences. As well as being part of the organizing team for the Skopje Pride Parade, he is the founder and former executive director of the Association for Educational Development Ekvalis, one of the most prominent organizations providing platforms for safe expression for LGBTQ+ youth in North Macedonia, which shut down following the recent U.S. funding cuts.
