Since the late 1980s, art in Ukraine has undergone a renaissance as the long-oppressed Soviet republic transformed into an independent nation. A new generation of radical, cosmopolitan artists is working t’o put the country on the art world’s map, but there is little support for fine art in cash-poor Ukraine.
