26 March 2002 MOSCOW, 26 March (Gazeta.Ru)–According to Interfax sources in the Russian Defense Ministry, 2,331 military forces’ servicemen have been killed since the beginning of the second anti-terrorist operation in Chechnya in 1999, 5,898 were wounded and 26 are missing in action. The news agency stressed that there are no updated official statistics available on this matter.
