This project aims at training journalists with skills on debunking disinformation and on Solutions Journalism reporting, addressing some of the challenges faced by the current information space, as well as to raise awareness among university students of such challenges.
The general objectives of this project are 1) to help raise awareness among the general public across the European Union of the importance of media freedom and ethical journalism for democracy, 2) to encourage independent collaborative journalism and support to its practitioners in the European Union, and 3) to facilitate building a European community of media professionals and organisations that are active in the field.
The overall objective of this project is to increase the availability of and public demand for high quality news and information on key societal issues and developments in the Western Balkans with a view to strengthening the resilience and professionalism of journalism.
